Why does Black Romance Matter To You?

Because I love Black love.

We have so many depictions of Black people in mainstream media but it’s still rare in 2019 to see two Black people of any gender loving each other. That’s why I love Black romance. It puts me in the center. Black Romance is the only place I can see people who look like me loving people who look like me. 

What's one of you favorite Black romance novels and why?

A Natural Transition by Nicole Falls

I will never stop talking about this book. It might be engraved on my tombstone. I love enemies to lovers and the hero Langston, isn’t the typical hero because he seems kinda corny. But there is so much more to him and I love the connection between him and Nyeema. I just love this book.
